We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use CollegeBound.All core features — school profiles, comparisons, the chances calculator, and rankings — are fully accessible without registration.

We may collect the following non-personal data automatically when you visit our site:

• General geographic region (country/state level, not precise location)
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

• Your SAT, ACT, or GPA (entered in the calculator — this is processed locally in your browser)

Any information you enter into the Chances Calculator or Quiz is used solely to generate results in your browser and is not stored on our servers.

Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to external websites such as school admissions pages or government data sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.

Children’s Privacy

CollegeBound is intended for students aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Because we collect minimal personal data, our security risk is low. We serve the site over HTTPS and do not store sensitive user information on our servers.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data tied to your identity, there is no personal profile for us to access, modify, or delete on your behalf. Your shortlist and any calculator inputs exist only in your browser and can be cleared at any time.
